Procrastination is the cause of many mistakes. When it comes to making the decision, what are you waiting for? The tough decisions simply have to be made, though it’s easy to hold off on decisions when the feelings and impact on a team member are at stake.
And, the problems won’t fix themselves. Even if the problem disappears briefly, if it hasn’t been addressed it will surely resurface. Make reasonable decisions now. Your team will know you mean business, and they’ll know who to look to for real guidance when decisions come their way.
