Let’s face it, we can all use a little self motivation every now and then so here are my top 10 self motivation tips:
1. Learn something new everyday
2. Find what is right in what you are doing
3. As you go to bed think of all you have to be grateful for
4. Take time everyday and do something for your Self
5. Exercise helps decrease stress and helps you find your center – Exercise!
6. Watch your thoughts – they reflect your beliefs. Have beliefs that serve you
7. Find joy in one thing everyday
8. Reflect on all that you gave today
9. Identify what you will contribute tomorrow
10. Know that you are the only person who can motivate you

These tips strike me as helpful, especially for maintaining the kind of positive attitude that really kicks self-motivation into gear. I’d add that I think it’s important to know what specific goal or habit you’re motivating yourself toward, and to know what your next few steps are for making progress with that goal or habit.
